Fieldwork on the implementation of study on Determine HIV Early Detect (DHED) RDT in Nigeria

The fieldwork on assessing cost effectiveness of introducing a 4^th Generation Determine HIV Early Detect (DHED) Test Kits to be used in Nigeria was conducted on the 24^th, 25^th and 27^th January 2025. Four (4) Facilities were visited for capturing the data from person living with HIV/AIDS. The Facilities visited were:

1. Federal Medical Centre, Guruku – Mararaba, Nasarawa State
2. Nasarawa State Primary HealthCare Dev. Agency (NAPHDA), Mararaba
3. Widow Against HIV/AIDS Foundation (WAAF), new Nyanya, Karu L.G.A., Nasarawa State
4. General Hospital, Kubwa – FCT

The goal of the project is to assess the cost-effectiveness of introducing a 4^th Generation Determine HIV Early Detect (DHED) Test Kits to be used in Nigeria compared to the 3^rd Generation HIV Test kits used. A total of 230 respondents were interviewed.
